If you want to lose weight desperately then go for sprint running. It is much more effective than jogging even if you do it for 10 to 30 seconds. This is because you burn more calories as the intensity of exercise is more than that of jogging.

A study has shown proved the above fact. Two groups were asked to engage in exercise. First group was asked to engage in sprint running and other in jogging for a period of 6 weeks. After 6 weeks it was found that the jogging group achieved almost zero result but there were significant results in the sprint running group. They manage to trim down there waistline.

The findings were not astonishing. This is the reason you don’t see fit people doing jogging almost 6 days a week. They do interval training or hit the gym for the same to build strength. To improve fitness is the best and the only way to be healthy. For this you have to increase your metabolism to the expectable level. Intensity exercises boost metabolism and this is why sprint works.

This method of interval training is preferred by many weight loss experts. They have seen it working over many years and they emphasizes on it. It can be done indoor and outdoor as well. So doesn’t get disappointed if are unable to hit running tracks.
