Dos and Don’ts of Freestyle Swimming Technique
Freestyle swimming technique is probably the easiest to learn and master which makes it the most important swimming stroke because it is also the most beneficent.
Freestyle swimming technique is first swimming technique a beginner is taught making it the most practiced form of swimming. Most amateurs know only the freestyle swimming technique and no other form of swimming. Also called the free crawl, this form of swimming is the fastest form which is why it is used during a freestyle race in which the participants are allowed to use any form of swimming they like including breast stroke, back stroke, butterfly stroke and freestyle swimming technique.
Swimming in the freestyle form has a lot many benefits. It builds up the upper body like no other swimming style. It provides an apt toning for the entire body especially the shoulders, abdominals and the legs. It improves the overall frame and posture of the body proving a strong supporting system for the core of the body. A few weeks of consecutive training in the freestyle swimming technique will eventually lead to an individual walking with his/her shoulders held backwards and chest bulging forwards.
