A person suffering from schizophrenic depression is generally known to have a lot of mood swings. In fact most of these disorders are associated with the depression itself.

However, there have been many debates on the inter connection between the both. It is said that in schizophrenia, the person has mood swings which have a completely different ground from that of the usual ones. The decisive factor of the interconnection of these two is a ratio and higher the ratio, higher the relation between the two. This relation is said to be a weaker one if the relation ratio is about 10 and by the time it comes to 14, there is a bit stronger connection.
